As you are probably aware, Google Chrome is one of the most popular browsers out there. The reason for that is its user-friendly interface, with plenty of options and customization features, as well as its Password Manager that allows easy saving, deleting and overall comfortable handling of your passwords.
In this article, we are going to explain the process of saving them.
How to Save Password on Chrome
The operations in Google Chrome are, in general, pretty simple and usually demand only a few clicks. Saving your password in Chrome is no exception to that rule and demands for the following:
- First thing you need to do is to type chrome://settings/passwords into the “Chrome Omnibox” and press Enter,
or go to your “User Account” image, click on it
and when a new window appears, select the little black key, “Passwords”.
- Now, you will have a Password window opened in front of you. Make sure that the switch next to “Offer to Save Passwords” is active (it should be moved to the right and blue in color) and open the website for which you want to save credentials.
- Enter the credentials and when Chrome asks: “Save password?”, click “Save”.
Now, you have successfully saved your password and when you log-on to that site next time, your credentials will be automatically filled by Chrome and you will be able to enter the site without any hassle.
